Operator and scope

Learning records on your device

Saved words, custom meanings, dates, progress and settings are held in app storage on your device. There is no app account or cross-device learning sync. These records are not included in ad requests. Operating-system backups and restoration depend on your device and settings.

Website and downloads

Cloudflare delivers the website, books, audio and illustrations. Connections transmit IP addresses, request URLs and device/browser network information, which may be used for delivery, security and troubleshooting. The operator adds no visitor analytics or advertising tags to this website. R2 object-level access logging is disabled; this does not mean Cloudflare has no security or service logs.

App advertising and choices

The current preview offers optional test ads. Google Mobile Ads and UMP may process IP addresses, approximate location, device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostics. Non-personalized ads still involve data processing. Before production advertising is introduced, required regional choices will be configured; where applicable, use advertising privacy options in app settings to change them. Learning is designed to remain available if ads or consent are unavailable. The current app disables ad personalization and publisher first-party ID and does not request ATT tracking permission.

Purchases and restore

Apple StoreKit handles ad-removal purchases and restore. Verified product and transaction information determines access. The operator has no custom payment server receiving card numbers or payment passwords. Apple purchase records and refunds follow Apple policies.

Support messages and retention

The operator uses your sender email, message and attachments to investigate and reply. Support messages and attachments controlled by the operator are deleted within 90 days after the request is resolved, except information that must be retained to meet a legal obligation. This period does not describe separate provider processing or backups at Google, Apple, Cloudflare or the email service.

Providers and international processing

Cloudflare, Inc. and Google LLC are headquartered in the United States and may process information there and in other countries. Support uses the Korean Hanmail email service. Provider processing, retention and international-transfer information is available in their notices below. Saved words and custom meanings are not sent with website or content-download requests.

Your choices and requests

Saved words can be deleted in the app. Removing a downloaded book is separate from deleting learning records. Removing the app may remove local records. The operator cannot remotely access or delete those device records. Email us to request access, correction or deletion of support information we hold. This does not limit privacy complaints or rights to contact a local supervisory authority. Do not send sensitive identity documents, payment cards or passwords.

We update this page and its effective date when the service or processing changes. Important changes will be announced on the website or in the app before they apply.
